Modern Dolls
My favorite modern dolls are ones of different ethnicities and nationalities.

Lee Middleton Children of the World Series, Thailand

Shy Violet

Magic Attic Rose

Magic Attic Megan

Magic Attic Heather, Gotz Annie, Magic Attic Keisha

Some of my favorite modern dolls are the My Scene Barbies.
One of these days, I'm going to add some photos of them. My
favorite of the group is Madison.

Girls of Many Lands
The Girls of Many Lands are made by the same company as American Girl. They are 9 inches tall and were sculpted by the famous Helen Kish. They each represent a different country at a different period in time, and they come with books that are entertaining and educational, even to an adult - at least, to this adult. The best part is their perfectly detailed costumes.
A gift in trade from my friend Cheryl, this is another Kish doll. She is 16 inches tall and is one of my favorite childhood characters, Anne of Green Gables. I love her freckles!

Reborns

My reborns snuggle together in this vintage
crib while they wait to be adopted.
