The interior of the addition has been puttied and primed, and the floor and roof have been added. |
| This view from the exterior shows that the two new exterior pieces need to be painted. I sprayed them with wood sealer and may just paint right over that because I'm sick of priming with oil paint.

This is what the front looks like with the addition complete.

| I am bricking the front porch with bricks cut from cardboard drink holders. I got the idea from another mini enthusiast, and I love the effect so far, even though it's not completely perfect. Check out the front doors! They aren't permanently assembled (don't even have the glass in yet), but you can get an idea of what they will look like eventually. A transom window with the house number and stained glass will go in that space over the door. |

The front steps will be brick, too. I started, then realized I needed to paint the white part first. The sides still need another coat of white after this. I added those pieces of 1/8" plywood to the fronts of each stair to eliminate the rolled lip, so the bricks will lay flat. |
This photo shows the completed addition with paint and the front steps and door temporarily in their places. |
